I just wanted to say that I haven't really followed your stuff (I will now!) but primarily remember seeing and liking your work back in 2016 and I just wanted to say HOLY SHIT your growth as an artist is super inspiring. Looking through your art you've made some amazing things since then and it's awesome to see how you've continued to grow! Looking forward to your future work!

You've captured a very relatable mood with this. XD Hope your new job goes well!

MellonSnow responds:

Haha, we all have those days huh! Thank you!!

Everytime you draw Wario it gives me strength and while Wario deserves more love from Nintendo at the very least I can enjoy your fanart of him.

I really like how you take the pokemon less conventionally accepted as "cute" and completely show that they're just as adorable. She's wonderful!

Ribbon-Dove responds:

Thank you! Yeah, that's a by-effect from my art style being old-ish anime.

This is exactly what it looks like outside where I am. The thick textured look to this makes it feel so comfy, I could have myself a hot cup of cocoa. Definitely did a great job capturing a comfy mood.

Onosse responds:

thank you! that's exactly what I was trying to go for. just a cozy dark february day

Her color palette did, in fact, turn out nicely. I feel your character's faces are the strongest aspect of your style and that you're doing just fine in that department. Foreshortening always helps a piece feel more exciting and does just that here, that being said with such strong emphasis on the hands make sure to practice drawing hands. I'd say the fingers she's holding out need to be consistent in their width and that women tend to have more slender fingers than men. Let cute hands compliment that cute face. That said hands can be tough sometimes so don't obsess over perfection as long as you're making progress. Also da booby do be lookin good in this. Good job overall.

misterbright responds:

Hands suck to draw and I definitely need to practice them

I love this piece! The angle, the colors, the lighting, it's all super fun and I totally vibe with it. Very inspiring work and a job well done. Definitely gonna follow your stuff.

I'm David, a self-taught artist that likes to lose himself in drawing. Don't really have a specific stylistic preference because I just love too many art styles. Primarily draw in digital but would love to learn more. Would like to do freelance one day.
